Prepara ad assumere il ruolo di insegnante di allievi e allieve con Bisogni Educativi Speciali (BES) in classi ad effettivo ridotto, inclusive o regolari.

Competenze e profilo professionale

Il/la docente di scuola speciale o docente specializzato/a attivo/a in classi inclusive e regolari può lavorare con allievi e allieve di qualsiasi età compresa tra i 4 e i 18 anni.
Durante la formazione il/la docente acquisisce competenze professionali e teoriche nel campo della pedagogia speciale e della didattica inclusiva.

Nello specifico queste includono:

• strumenti e strategie per comprendere il funzionamento di allievi e allieve con Bisogni Educativi Speciali (BES) sia sul piano individuale che all’interno del sistema classe;
• progettazione di percorsi educativi efficaci per allievi e allieve con BES, sia nei contesti dell’educazione speciale che in quelli del circuito scolastico principale;
• predisposizione allo sviluppo di una scuola inclusiva capace di educare e formare allievi e allieve con BES in collaborazione con altre figure professionali

Skills and professional profile

The special education teacher or specialised teacher active in inclusive and regular classes can work with pupils of any age between 4 and 18 years.
During the training, the teacher acquires professional and theoretical competences in the field of special pedagogy and inclusive education.

Specifically these include:

• tools and strategies to understand the functioning of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) both individually and within the classroom system;
• designing effective educational pathways for pupils with SEN, both in special education and mainstream school contexts;
• readiness to develop an inclusive school capable of educating and training pupils with SEN in cooperation with other professionals.
